MsgVault
A personal, self-hosted email archive operated by Neeldhara Misra. This installation imports email from the operator’s authorized accounts for personal search, retrieval, and archive analysis. It is not a public email service.
Privacy notice
Google access is requested using the Gmail read-only permission. This allows MsgVault to read messages, metadata, labels, and attachments needed for the archive. This permission does not allow it to send, modify, or delete Gmail messages.
Imported mail and attachments are stored in the operator’s self-hosted archive. OAuth credentials are stored on the host to permit unattended synchronization. Access to the archive is controlled by the operator; this information page does not expose email contents. The operator may use authorized tools to search and analyze the archive.
Revoking MsgVault’s access in Google Account settings stops future authorized access to Gmail. Revocation does not remove copies already imported into the archive. Archive retention and deletion are managed separately by the operator.
This installation is intended for the operator’s own accounts, not for collecting email from the public. Questions about access, retained copies, or deletion can be directed to neeldhara.misra@gmail.com.
Terms of use
This MsgVault installation is maintained for the operator’s personal use. It is not offered as a public service. Only accounts the operator is authorized to archive may be connected. Access to Google data is subject to the account holder’s consent and applicable Google and organizational policies.
The installation may be unavailable during maintenance or service interruptions. The operator controls synchronization, access, retention, and deletion. Questions may be sent to the contact address above.
